Thanks for another awesome year in 2014!

As the year draws to a close I want to thank everybody who made 2014 so memorable. It’s so cool to have a like-minded community of people around the world brought together by electronic music. Here are some highlights from this year:

Super8 & Tab vs Jaytech – Code Red hits #1 in Beatport Trance

My collaboration with Finnish dudes Janne and Miika turned out to be a runaway smash hit, taking the #1 spot on Beatport Trance and remaining in the top ten for weeks. The tune was also an anthem for our “Code Red” tour, which took us all around North America including my first ever show in Hawaii.

Positronic Digital

This year I kicked off digital imprint Positronic Digital together with label buddy Dion, who has a long history of sifting through my music and telling me which of it is worth finishing. We were flatmates when I was writing my first album, he was there for the creation of “Gray Horizon” and the track “Highway Rockers” is inspired by our adventures in his little red VW Golf. The first Positronic release, a four track EP from myself, started the imprint off in style.

Miami Music Week

Created with Nokia Smart Cam

This year in Miami we went to three different boat parties, I also played a few shows myself including the Anjunabeats party which was totally awesome, great venue and right on the beach too. In my set I debuted my Anjunabeats track “Megastructure”, which you can hear in the below video.

Partying back on home soil

In September I returned to Australia to play shows in Sydney, Melbourne and Brisbane, not to mention getting in some time off with my friends. I’ll be coming back over New Years as well, for two shows with Above & Beyond.

Celebrating Christmas in Berlin

This year I was also fortunate enough to enjoy the craziness that is German Christmas here in Berlin, with my parents who were stopping through town on their travels. My mother also went to great lengths to make my apartment look extra Christmas-ey. Thanks Mum 🙂

Merry Christmas!
